Military tattoos

Military tattoosThe original meaning of military tattoo was a military drum performance, but subsequently it came to mean army displays more generally. Military tattoos have a long history in the United States. They serve multiple purposes and have become a staple in tattoo culture. Some military tattoos signify a persons membership to specific section of the military and others are used to commemorate a fellow soldier that died in battle. Because of new military regulations most soldiers must wait until their completion of military service to get tattoos.
